Ted Ligety's 'Go Ligety' is the 1990s Olympic Parody Song You've Been Waiting For

Ted Ligety, the American Olympic skier, is the latest athlete to dip his toes into the ever-expanding 1990s nostalgia market. JC Penny recorded, let’s call it, a “tribute” version of the classic 1990s club jam, “No Diggity” by Blackstreet. Surprisingly, the Ligety version performed by C-Black isn’t half bad. Look, it’s not going to make you forget the original, but as far as chain retail store recordings about skiers go, it passes the muster.

Alas, there’s probably not enough time for a Sochi-bound athlete to record an updated version of Montell Jordan’s “This is How We Do It.”
