Mike Francesa Fell for a Fake Artie Lange Prank Call

Mike Francesa, the WFAN radio host and TBL fan-favorite, devoted most of his Monday afternoon New York talk radio show to the Michael Sam story. It was mostly a painful, cringeworthy show thanks to the majority of callers plumbing a new level of sportstalk radio ignorance.
If there was a brief moment of levity it was a call from “Arthur in Hoboken” aka a recording of Artie Lange. Francesa had no clue he was in the midst of a prank and answered the recording as if it was a real call.
With any luck this sort of nonsense will be back on television soon, perhaps nationally on Fox Sports 1. [via @WFANAudio]
