Kate Hansen Can't Stop Dancing, Twerks to "Bless" Teammate's Bronze Medal
By Mike Cardillo
Kate Hansen, the American luger from California, set the Internet ablaze earlier this week with her Beyoncé warm-up dance routine. Since this is 2014, the Hansen dance GIF managed to overshadow her teammate Erin Hamlin’s historic achievement of placing third in the women’s singles luge competition. Hamlin’s bronze medal was the first won by an American female luger ever, and the first for the U.S. in a singles event.
Hamlin tapped into the sweet social media parade by getting Hansen to “dance bless” the bronze medal with a series of moves and even a little twerking for good measure, as you can see above in the Instagram video.
Safe bet: we’ll see Hansen on the next season of Dancing with the Stars and probably a Subway commercial.
