Blind Man Hits 3-Pointer and Wins Free McDonald's For a Year

Michael Quin, a blind man from Springfield, Mo., knocked down a three-pointer during halftime of College of the Ozarks vs. Bellevue game on Saturday, and in turn won free McDonald’s for a year.
You have to apreciate how quiet the crowd remained while Quin prepared to take the shot and the ensuing eruption that followed. Cool moment.
But is a year of free fast food really the best prize they could come up with for this guy? A blind man hitting a three seems like an accomplishment deserving of more than just a sea of endless Chicken McNuggets.
