Chelsea beat Everton in Premier League action with a stoppage time goal. The goal came on a direct kick that appeared to be deflected off a Chelsea player’s head and looked like it was put in by John Terry. Replays showed that Terry missed and goalie Tim Howard basically batted it into the goal himself. Thus, the USMNT goalie was credited with the own goal in what was a huge win for Chelsea who entered the day with a 1-point lead in the EPL.
