Jake "The Snake" Roberts Reportedly Has Cancer and Will Need Emergency Surgery

Wrestling legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts has a cancerous tumor behind his knee and will need to undergo emergency surgery in order to remove the growth, according to TMZ Sports. The tumor is apparently the size of a half dollar and will be removed on Tuesday morning.

Here’s Jake:

“If the devil can’t defeat me, cancer doesn’t stand a chance in hell! Pray for sick children who face this horrible disease ’cause The Snake will be just fine.”

The last time we shared some news on The Snake, he was singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” at Turner Field. So here’s to a successful surgery and a speedy recovery for Roberts, as well as more happy times ahead for a guy who appears to have completely turned his life around.
