Sidney Crosby is pretty good at this hockey thing, isn’t he? In the second period of Sunday’s Gold Medal game in Sochi the Team Canada captain did it himself, knocking away a puck in his own end and then taking it all the way himself to beat Sweden goalie Henrik Lundqvist on a sick backhand.

Canada leads 2-0 heading into the third period. Somebody can probably start wheeling in the celebratory bags of milk into the Canadian locker room.

Don Cherry is presumably very happy at this development.
