Oscar Pistorius Apparently Dating 19-Year Old As He Heads to Trial For Murdering His Model Girlfriend

Oscar Pistorius, the paralympian known as The Blade Runner, is about to go on trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius shot Steenkamp through the bathroom door of home on February 14, 2013. Pistorius claimed he mistook her for a burglar. Luckily, Pistorius doesn’t have to go through trial alone because he has a new girlfriend, 19-year old student / dressage competitor, Leah Skye Malan.

The pair met in Mozambique in December when Malan was there on vacation with her family and Pistorius was probably just there to clear his head before his murder trial. From the New York Post:

"“They both seem really into each other. She’s helped support him through this difficult time and has introduced him to all her family,” a source said. “They have embraced him.”"

That is some tremendous parenting. Let’s just hope Malan’s parents aren’t as surprised by Pistorius as the police were.
