NBA Ball Boy Dives on the Floor to Avoid Collision With Ref on Fast Break

With the Nets and Raptors tied in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter and Tyler Hansbrough chugging down the floor on a fast break, one of Brooklyn’s towel-wielding ball boys made a graceful headfirst dive into a somersault towards the bench (catch it in slow-mo at the end of the clip). In doing so, he averted what could’ve been a nasty collision between himself and the referee. It’s relatively surprising that NBA ball boys don’t wind up as roadkill, like, once or twice a week.
