Kobe Bryant’s 2013-2014 season is over. Bleacher Report’s Kevin Ding
ESPN is reporting that Bryant won’t return to the tanking team with an eye on being 100% healthy for next season. This should surprise nobody. Kobe played in only six games this season before suffering a fractured tibia in December. He turns 36 in August.
This one was a no-brainer. LA is tanking with hopes of getting a Top 3 pick (there is a significant difference between the top three and 4-5). Why risk another injury to Bryant on a team loaded with NBDL players?
