Bryce Harper took an accidental knee to the head from Mets’ second baseman Eric Young Jr. during the Nationals Opening Day game against the Mets at Citi Field. The Nationals young star went back to the trainer’s room for concussion evaluations. Harper remained in the game and was in the left field in the bottom half of the inning.

It appears as if Harper and the Nationals dodged a bullet. Last season he only played in 118 games due, in part, to running into the wall at Dodger Stadium along various ailments to his knee. It’s worth keeping an eye on if the injury has an lingering affects.
