The parody Twitter account PFTCommenter can be extremely vulgar, but anybody who reads it carefully enough can discern that its writer actually holds the opposite opinion to most of what he is satirizing. He made a Nazi joke to describe RG3’s new Instagram branding, one of his followers responded (in PFTCommenter’s voice) with an extension of it that tagged Rovell, and then this happened:
For those that don’t spend all day on Twitter, tagging Rovell was a nod to the idea that sometimes he can be over-the-top with the extent to which he fetishizes brands at the purported expense of human emotions and interactions. The tweet was reducing this idea to absurdity, not implying that Rovell is a Nazi sympathizer.
