Princess Lacey Holsworth, Adreian Payne's Friend, Passed Away Last Night

Lacey Holsworth, the 8-year-old girl with cancer who captured Michigan State forward Adreian Payne’s heart, and then by extension a large portion of America, passed away last night. Payne met Lacey on a hospital visit two years ago, where she was being treated after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma. They maintained that connection, and this year, Lacey was at Payne’s Senior Day ceremony, was in Chicago for the Big Ten Championship, in New York for the East Regional, and also attended the Slam Dunk contest with Payne.
