ESPN Head of Research Takes Bizarre Shot at Fox Sports 1
By Jason McIntyre

Buried at the end of this New York Times story on ESPN’s continued profitability was this strange shot fired from ESPN’s head of research, Arthur Bulgrin, at Fox Sports 1:
"“Let’s face it. Ain’t nobody naming their kid Fox Sports 1.”"
What the what? A 40-year head start, FS1 struggling eight months after launching, and during a victory lap, ESPN’s head of research is playing this card? Odd. [via NYT]
