In a move reportedly made with the intention of bridging the organization’s business and football personnel sides, the Miami Dolphins have hired Joe Cicini to bolster their security operations. The Miami Herald’s Adam Beasley has the details:

"Cicini joins the organization after 23 years of service in the FBI’s Miami division. His background includes work with the Joint Terrorism Task Force and he has provided crisis management training to the NFL, MLB, NBA and more."

The franchise, which has had egg on its face since Jonathan Martin left the team in late October, also brought aboard former Toys ‘R Us executive Dan Caspersen to run its human resources department.
