Jeff Teague's Off Balance 3-Pointer Helped Put the Pacers on the Ropes

Jeff Teague drained an off-balance 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter to heap more misery on the Indiana Pacers as the Hawks took a 2-1 series lead in their Eastern Conference quarterfinal. Teague was as surprised as anyone else that the shot went in.

There was a brief review by the officials to make sure Teague’s feet were behind the 3-point line. Since it happened before the two-minute mark they couldn’t check to see if Teague went out of bounds before releasing the ball and wave off the points.

The Pacers probably have bigger issues to worry about that the placement of Teague’s feet on this shot.
