Meghan Duggan, Olympian & Red Sox Fan, Paid Tribute to Michael Pineda Before Throwing First Pitch

meghan-duggan-first-pitchMeghan Duggan has won two silver medals with the USA Olympic women’s hockey team. (She scored a go-ahead goal in the gold medal game against Canada.) Duggan, a Massachusetts native, threw out the first pitch at last night’s Yankees – Red Sox game at Fenway. Before throwing, Duggan paid tribute to Michael Pineda by going to her neck for some pine tar. MLB has destroyed all video of the first pitch and placed an asterisk next to her name in an unwritten book.
