Aaron Hernandez has been indicted for the July 2012 murders of Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu, according to Fox 25’s Ted Daniel. Furtado and Abreu were killed in a drive-by shooting in South Boston; this past October, one of the survivors from the vehicle that was shot up said that he recognized Hernandez as the shooter. If Hernandez is guilty, it would mean he played the whole 2012 season for New England after committing the murders.

According to Daniel, police have not yet released a motive for the double murder.
