Turkish Player Misses Wide Open Soccer Goal from Point Blank Range

Turkey beat Kosovo 6-1 earlier today in an international friendly, and the victory would’ve been even more lopsided if this wide open goal had been converted. On the bright side of things, the camera angle makes it a bit hard to know for sure but it really looks like the guy was offsides and the goal — had it gone in — shouldn’t have counted in the first place.

Additionally, the Turkish player would’ve needed to get his shot off quicker to make sure to get it past the trailing Kosovo defender, so the “Epic Fail” tagline in the video’s title should probably just read “mild fail”.
