Japanese Soccer Team Uses Cardboard Fans to Boost Attendance

Omiya Ardija is a football club in Japan’s top division. Fan turnouts have not been impressive so the team has started to fill seats with cardboard cutouts wearing team colors. The Jacksonville Jaguars are discussing working more cardboard into this year’s budget. Meanwhile, the sports team in Rock Ridge is close to breaking the Boston Red Sox’s streak of consecutive sellouts.
