Uruguay were beaten 3-1 by Costa Rica, all but scuttling their 2014 World Cup campaign before Luis Suarez could even take the field. Defender Maximiliano Pereira vented his frustration on Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell in stoppage time. That’ll get him suspended for the next match.
Campbell, who had a goal and an assist, will have Arsenal fans clamoring for him to be called back from the wilderness.
