Keith Olbermann and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo Are Sniping Back and Forth

Yesterday, Chris “Mad Dog” Russo was railing on his SiriusXM show about the latest development in the Washington football team name story — the US Patent Office canceling the team’s trademarks, pending appeal — and his points were (presumably) transcribed by a producer onto Twitter.
The @Redskins has been the team name for 80 years and all of the sudden we are going to make a big deal about it.

Why do we only hear about those offended by @Redskins name when there are plenty of Native Americans who think its a badge of honor.

This drew the ire of Keith Olbermann, who, as you may remember, feuded entertainingly with Russo’s former WFAN partner Mike Francesa last year.

Mad Dog wanted to take this outside Twitter:
I see @KeithOlbermann thinks I'm ignorant, would love to debate it on my show today, what do you say Keith?
— Chris Mad Dog Russo (@MadDogUnleashed) June 19, 2014
And he was dismayed when Keith declined:
So we wanted @KeithOlbermann on to discuss the @Redskins name after he called me ignorant. However apparently Keith doesn't "do radio."
— Chris Mad Dog Russo (@MadDogUnleashed) June 19, 2014
My apologies, Keith. I didn't know radio was so beneath you. Your old partner seems to be doing quite well with radio. Keith is big tiiime!

Then Olbermann hit the TKO:
I do radio shows with LISTENERS RT @MadDogUnleashed So we wanted @KeithOlbermann on to discuss the @Redskins… http://t.co/jawGKkDee4

Surely, if the two debated, one would make such compelling points that the other’s perspective on the matter would seismically shift.
