Shakira (Mistakenly) Shouted Out Ray Hudson After Colombia's First Goal vs. Ivory Coast

Colombia, perhaps the most impressive team so far at the 2014 World Cup, is celebrating its goals with dances en masse. After its first goal Thursday against the Ivory Coast, ESPN’s announcer calling the match said, “Move over Shakira, there’s a new Colombian No. 1 — James Rodriguez is his name” as the team became to dance on the sideline.

The Colombia singer — and partner of Spanish defender Gerard Pique — is a big soccer fan and performed the 2010 World Cup’s official song. Shakira must have seen a Vine of the goal taken from ESPN and decided to give some love to the inimitable Ray Hudson on Twitter.

One minor problem: Hudson had nothing to do with it. Instead it was the underrated Adrian Healey behind the mic for ESPN.

We’ll forgive Shakira for making a a hardly magisterial mistake.
