Elvis Andrus Hit by Pick-Off Attempt, ESPN Mics Catch Him Reacting

Elvis Andrus was on first with no outs in the top of the 6th during Sunday’s Rangers – Angels game. With a runner on third, Angels’ pitcher Matt Shoemaker threw over to try and keep Andrus close. The ball hit Andrus which caused him to yell, “AW shit!” This was picked up amazingly clearly by the ESPN microphones. The ball rolled away and Leonys Martin scored. Everyone was happy. Except for Elvis Andrus who had been hit with a baseball.
