Doug McDermott was drafted by the Denver Nuggets, but was the first player who was traded before the hat even had time to get comfortable on his head. Chicago traded for the Creighton star, according to Jeff Goodman, in exchange for the 16th and 19th pick. Clearing out space for Carmelo Anthony? The Bulls, meanwhile, get a very polished offensive player and shooter to add to a roster that has been very good defensively but can struggle to score at times.
