Torrential rains have come down in the coastal city of Recife, Brazil, where the United States is scheduled to play Germany in the decisive final group game at 12 Eastern. Sunil Gulati, US Soccer President, has even said that there is flooding in the streets as the team bus heads to the stadium. It looked even worse earlier this morning.

Despite this, FIFA has said that the game will go on as scheduled, according to Rachel Nichols.
Jeremy Schaap, who is at the stadium, says that family and friends of the US Men’s Team have decided not to make the trip to the stadium because it is “too treacherous.”
