Jonathon Mincy: Auburn DB Arrested for Weed Two Days After Speaking for D.A.R.E.

Jonathon Mincy, a senior defensive back at Auburn, was one of several Tigers pictured in a tweet from the school’s athletic department that spoke at a D.A.R.E. camp this past Wednesday. On Friday, he was arrested and charged with second degree marijuana possession after he was a passenger in a car pulled over for allegedly driving 92 in a 65. According to an Abbeville police officer quoted by the Dothan Eagle, Mincy “had shake all over his shirt” and was sitting next to a bag of weed.

If not for the ironic photo above, I’d be inclined to ignore the incident entirely.
