France midfielder Blaise Matuidi, somehow, was not sent off for this savage tackle on Nigeria’s Ogenyi Onazi. Perhaps if the leg severed at the ankle, he would have seen red. The 21-year-old Onazi was stretchered off the pitch, with what looks like a significant injury.
