Jaguars Billboard Trolls Cowboys and Texans Over Videoboards
The Jacksonville Jaguars are spending this offseason marketing everything other than their on-field product. Their fancy schmancy poolside cabanas, which cost $12,500, are apparently already sold out. Now they’re hyping up their new videoboards. The Florida Times-Union says that EverBank Field will boast screens at both end zones that are 362 feet wide and 60 feet high; Jerryworld boasts a 160′ wide screen while the Texans have displays on either endzone that span 277 feet.
The new Jags screens narrowly edge out the square footage of the video board at Texas Motor Speedway, which is 218 X 95 feet, and held the previous distinction for the largest HD board in the world.
