Wuilmer Becerra Benavente, 19, and Vicente Lupo Perez, 20, two New York Mets prospects, were arrested early Friday morning in Tennessee for drag racing. Becerra and Lupo, who play for the Kingsport Mets, were both driving vehicles in excess of 100 miles per hour when police pulled them over. Benavente, who was part of the trade that sent R.A. Dickey to Toronto, was driving a 2013 Dodge Challenger at 107 miles per hour. Perez was doing 104  in a Ford Mustang. Neither man was carrying a driver’s license. [WCYB]
