Lauren Holiday Scored a Ridiculous Goal From a Corner Kick in an NWSL Game

Lauren Holiday, a midfielder on FC Kansas City and the U.S. Women’s National Team, scored an Olimpico-style goal directly off a corner kick during a weekend match with Sky Blue FC in an NWSL match played in New Jersey. These goals are always fun, well, except for the goalie and the defender at the back post who begins to jump when it’s already too late.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup takes place next summer in Canada.
