LeBron James’ meeting in Las Vegas has ended, and according to Adrian Wojnarowski, he left that meeting without committing to returning to the Heat. USA Today’s Sam Amick has confirmed that the meeting, which included both Pat Riley and agent Rich Paul, ended without LeBron making a decision.
That’s all that is known at this hour. There are other “reports” coming out about LeBron’s decision, but there will be plenty of people trying to read the tea leaves. The only hard news that would have come out of this meeting was word that he was returning. As of now, the door is still open, in both directions. Cleveland, meanwhile, continues to make moves in hopes of luring LeBron to return, and that hope remains alive after Miami’s in-person push.
Tomorrow marks the end of the July moratorium in the NBA, when all of the discussed and reported deals can be finalized, and LeBron can finalize any move officially tomorrow.
