Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett are on the Cavaliers. They’re the last two No. 1 picks in the NBA draft. They’re both from Canada.
And Cleveland may offer them in a package to Minnesota in exchange for Kevin Love. (I’d never part with Wiggins in the deal, but I’ll write about that topic at length later.)
Why is the Canada part relevant?
Climate, of course.
“They’re from Canada. And that’s … you know … a climate that’s similar to Minnesota. Maybe that plays in.”
