Gambling Odds: Cavs Now Title Favorites, Heat Drop to 50-1

Well, this obviously didn’t take long. Bovada has already updated its NBA championship odds to reflect LeBron’s announcement, and the Cavaliers are the favorites next season at 4-1:

Miami, meanwhile, dropped to 50-1, odds they share with the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans.

As of now, Cleveland should be considered the overwhelming favorite in the East. The Bulls are apparently still in the Melo sweepstakes, but I personally don’t think that would tip them over the Cavs. The Spurs have to advance through a minefield in the Western Conference, but I’d imagine they’d be favored in a head-to-head series versus Cleveland as their rosters are presently assembled.
