This snack bar menu was documented in Freedom, Wi., a town about 20 miles southwest of Green Bay. At some point, league administrators probably rationalized that parents were going to throw back some cold ones at the games anyways, and that they might as well turn a tidy profit from it. Local umpires could not have been psyched with the development.
Update: For anyone out there wondering, the Post-Crescent confirms that this concession stand does indeed sell beer for youth games. Field administrators were surprised about the national hoopla because they’ve “probably” been vending brewskis for 60 years.
