Sting, the legendary pro wrestler, made what was essentially his first appearance ever on WWE television tonight. He previously spoke about the legacy of his former tag-team partner, The Ultimate Warrior, and his match versus Ric Flair was the final bout for WCW after it was bought by Vince McMahon.
Sting’s been involved in WWE’s annoying/oddly compelling rumor mill for months now, and he appeared on Raw tonight in a commercial for the upcoming release of the WWE 2k15 video game. Presumably (though he may or may not be officially signed yet), this commercial marks the beginning of a Sting storyline that will culminate at WrestleMania, the prospect of which is pretty exciting for wrestling fans.
