French cyclist Arnaud Demare was forced to rely on the kindness of strangers when nature called during Stage 14 of the Tour de France.

Instead of exploring the Alps countryside for his bathroom needs, he pulled over to the side of the road and asked a fan if he could use the facilities.

The fan graciously allowed Demare, who is currently 164th out of 171 riders, to do his business.

What a guy. That’s the mark of a true humanitarian: giving safe shelter to a guy bringing up the rear.

It’s an odd way to increase the re-sale value of a vehicle, but, hey, whatever works.
