Deadliest Catch Had to Make Their Own Knockoff Broncos and Seahawks Logos

If you ever wondered just how real reality television shows are, look no further than Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch.” A recent episode from the latest season of the competitive fishing reality program took place around the time of Super Bowl XLVIII. Based in the Pacific Northwest, the fishermen were obviously interested in the Seahawks being in The Big Game. As the fishermen watched, the score was shown and fake logos were substituted for actual Denver and Seattle logos. I wonder if the NFL wanted too much money for the use of their logos or if they refused because the title “Deadliest Catch” reminds them of certain players.
