Kurt Warner Can Still Wing the Football

Kurt Warner visited Rams training camp for NFL Network over the weekend. Part of his time there was spent throwing passes to St. Louis receivers Chris Givens and Tavon Austin. Now, obviously there was no defense — and John Elway, Brett Favre and any number of retired quarterbacks would probably look like they’ve STILL GOT IT under similar circumstances — but it was still pretty cool to see.

Just having looked it up, it’s baffling that Kurt Warner’s been retired since after the 2009 season — time’s sorta flown. Anyways, the moral of the story is that a flag football league anchored by recently-retired NFL quarterbacks would be more compelling to me than the July programming the sports landscape currently has to offer.
