Jamison Olave, a defender on the New York Red Bulls, gave Real Salt Lake’s Olmes Garcia a tap (maybe a quick grab) to the groin region during Wednesday night’s 1-1 draw that aired on ESPN2. Olave escaped punishment, while Garcia picked up a yellow card for his over-the-top reaction that included writhing around on the ground after pushing the New York player away.

Logic would dictate in the age of video and GIFs (or GYFs!) that Olave will likely earn a retroactive suspension for his actions.

Now commence the ever-so-witty comments about soccer players and flopping. Those never, ever get old.

U.S. international Aron Johannsson, himself a victim of a similar incident was watching the match and chimed in on Twitter.
