Philip Lutzenkirchen Had a Blood Alcohol Level of .377 at the Time of His Death

NCAA Football: Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game-Auburn vs ClemsonPhilip Lutzenkirchen, a tight end for the 2010 Auburn national championship team, was killed in a car accident on June 29. He was 23 years old. Today, the toxicology report was released in regard to that accident. Lutzenkirchen, who was a passenger in the vehicle that ran through a stop sign into a churchyard and flipped, had a blood alcohol level of .377.

The driver, Joseph Ian Davis, was over the legal limit as well, with a blood alcohol level of .170.
