Hot Mic Catches Jon Jones Making a Death Threat to Daniel Cormier

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier brawled during a promotional appearance last week. After going on ESPN to make amends, they were caught on a hot mic swearing at each other, which escalated from there. Our friends at MMA Junkie have the transcription (and provides the video above):

It’s not 100% clear whether all of this stuff is, to borrow a term from pro wrestling, a “work” designed to gin up interest in buying the fight (or if it’s partly real and partially exaggerated). The match is scheduled for September 27th.
