Minor Leaguer Makes Great Catch, Wins Fight with Outfield Wall

Michael Earley, an outfielder with the Birmingham Barons, made this nice running catch to take away a hit from Angel Sanchez of the Chattanooga Lookouts. It’s a solid catch on its own merits although, honestly, nothing all that out of the ordinary … well except for the part when Earley crashes through the outfield wall door into the bullpen.

Fortunately there wasn’t an American Gladiator waiting for him behind the door.
