Bob Costas Asks For Do-Over Following Terrible First Pitch Attempt

Bob Costas threw out the first pitch at Busch Stadium in St. Louis Tuesday night. No, his attempt wasn’t as bad as 50 Cent, or Carly Rae Jepsen or even Miss Texas over the weekend. However, Costas being Costas he asked for another attempt, I don’t know, to prove to the Cardinal faithful that he’s a viable late-inning option for manager Mike Matheny?

Perhaps he just wanted to spend more time with A. J. Pierzynski — it’s entirely possible. Hopefully Costas’ insistence on a do-over doesn’t start a trend.
