Doug Gottlieb vs Mike Francesa Seems Like it Could be Fun at CBS
By Jason McIntyre
Doug Gottlieb is back in New York, moving East from California to have his CBS radio simulcast. Wednesday, Gottlieb was in the building where CBS airs all of its shows, and so was Kentucky coach John Calipari. The Wildcats coach was doing an interview with everybody’s favorite ornery know-it-all, Mike Francesa.
According to Gottlieb, one of his producers waited to try and land an interview with Calipari, and Francesa caught wind of it and delivered a stern message: Don’t you ever try to pull that shit again.
Gottlieb relayed this story to two other CBS radio hosts who don’t like Francesa, Boomer and Carton. You can detect the glee on their faces early in the video. Synergy? [video via Bob’s Blitz]
