Gael Monfils Slammed a Stylish Jumping Forehand Winner

Gael Monfils breezed to a straight-set victory over Alejandro Gonzalez yesterday in Flushing. And he did it in style.

The French star displayed his athleticism and flair with a leaping forehand winner in the second set. His perfectly placed 110 mph blast was accented by a deft little scissor kick.

Then he capped it off with a nice little finger wave to add even more mustard.

The fancy play caused this French announcer to completely lose his mind in a fit of joy.

Victoria Azarenka was also duly impressed, as you can tell from this text-speak tweet.
