Anthony Davis Dunking On and Dominating International Competition

Anthony Davis is the new NBA superstar. Don’t know if you got the memo, but with LeBron James and Kevin Durant taking the summer off for various reasons, Anthony Davis became the focal point of American basketball. And when the 2016 Olympics roll around, it’s not impossible to imagine Davis as America’s best player. Already averaging 20 points and 10 rebounds a night in the NBA, Davis, along with Kenneth Faried, has been a beast internationally.

Team USA closes out group play with games against the Dominican Republic Wednesday (3:30pm) and Ukrain on Thursday (11:30am). USA appears destined for a championship game against Spain and their big man trio of Serge Ibaka and the Gasol brothers. If Davis can carry Team USA against that line, everyone should be even more afraid-er. Seriously, he’s awesome.
