Jim Irsay Suspended Six Games, Fined $500k

Jim Irsay will be suspended for six games and fined $500,000, the NFL has announced. Irsay pled guilty to one count of misdemeanor OWI earlier today, stemming from a March arrest. It’s worth noting that this discipline is actually far more severe than for players who have committed first-offense DUI. Irsay must stay away from team facilities, league and team functions, and social media. The Colts owner is eligible to return for the team’s October 19th game versus Cincinnati.
