Michael Sam Has Been Signed to Dallas Cowboys Practice Squad
By Jason Lisk
According to Clarence Hill, Jr., the Dallas Cowboys have signed Michael Sam to the team’s practice squad and he will be at practice this morning. The tryout was first reported late yesterday by Adam Schefter. Dallas never gets any media attention, so I hope Jerry Jones’ team is ready for people to talk about them.
In truth, now that he is with a team, I think this becomes a non-story fairly quickly, until/if he is promoted to the active roster with any injuries or because Dallas needs defensive help, in which case there will be another week of headlines, then things back to normal. The training camp with the Rams was fairly quiet, with the notable exception of the ESPN shower report near the end of the preseason.
