Derek Jeter Answers Reporter's Phone During Press Conference in Typical Derek Jeter Fashion

The Yankees celebrated Derek Jeter Day prior to Sunday’s 2-0 loss to the Royals in the Bronx. The highlight of the festivities might have come in the pregame press conference when a reporter’s phone rang and Jeter picked up. The ensuing 15 seconds, hanging up on somebody named “Walt” are about as much outward personality as The Captain has displayed publicly (in a non-SNL setting) over his entire career.

The face at the end seals it, at least for me.

Safe guess, Jeter has had some experience in dealing with an unwanted phone call or two during his two decades in the New York spotlight.
